BrightCV provides online resume creation and enhancement services (“Resume Services”). You may choose to create a new resume via form input or upload an existing resume for improvement.

3. User Obligations

You represent and warrant that all information you submit is accurate and truthful.
You will not upload any material that infringes intellectual property rights or contains malicious code.
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.

4. Payment Terms (If Applicable)

Currently, BrightCV offers free trials and promotional pricing. If and when paid plans are introduced, payment terms, fees, and refund policies will be clearly disclosed at checkout. You agree to pay all fees in a timely manner.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and underlying software of BrightCV (excluding your uploaded materials) are the exclusive property of BrightCV or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6. Confidentiality & Data Usage

We treat your uploaded resume data as confidential. We use it solely to perform the requested services and do not sell or share it with third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

BRIGHTCV IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BRIGHTCV DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IN NO EVENT SHALL BRIGHTCV BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BrightCV, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your use of the Service.
